Results: Chart Hills Golf Club - 12 July 2012

Round 1 of the 2012 Banks and Brokers Golf Championship supported by Giles Harwood Wealth Management took place at the stunning Chart Hills Golf Club in Kent on Thursday 12th July. The event was blessed with some amazing weather, bearing in mind all the recent heavy rain, and the day was a great success with all the golfers saying how impressed they were with the condition of the course and also with the prizes donated by La Cala Resort and Golfing Devotee.com.

The nearest the pin prize was won by Robert Currie from Fairbairn Private Bank and the longest drive on the day was hit by Sean Grant from Going for Golf. The 3rd placed team prize went to BT who managed 84 Stableford points, runners-up were team ICAP with 86 points and the winners were Fairbairn Private Bank with a hugely impressive 87 points.

ICAP and Fairbairn now go through to the Grand Final taking place at the exclusive Stoke Park Club on Friday 14th September. Fairbairn also won a two day break to La Cala Resort in Spain courtesy of sponsors www.GolfingDevotee.com and a golf clinic from event sponsor www.StevenPalmerGolf.com
